Duke has been a winner at the race track and in 1998, his first year over fences, was Adult Open Hunter Champion in a 12-show Series. Ridden, trained and shown by his Owner, Duke also is enjoyed cross-country, in organized trail rides, and in hunter paces.

Now competing and winning in dressage at First Level, Duke earned his ESDCTA bronze Medal in 2000, qualified for Zone Championships, was Regional Training Level Champion for the Performance Horse Registry, 2nd in the U.S. at TL in Thoroughbred Horses for Sport, and was in the ribbons at Dressage at Devon in the Mature Stallions under Saddle class, and in 2000 was USDF/ Cosequin Breeder's Series Finalist at Devon. As well as being approved and branded as a AWS premium breeding stallion, he is also approved by the AQHA, APHA, ApSHA, ASHA registries as an enhancement stallion, and registered with the Performance Horse Registry and Thoroughbred Horses for Sport.
